it's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday

Anybody else think of that song every. time. you think of being a high school senior?

No? Just me then. And I'm singing it, right now. Ok ok, and watching the Boyz II Men video. Those circle sunglasses are totally coming back.

I need to admit something about this session... Brooke literally took my breathe away when she stepped out of the car. I kinda felt like I was back in high school... but like a freshmen... like a really dorky freshmen who was totally out of her league. I did one of those, look around to make sure there wasn't like a Teen Vogue photographer there to do the job, kind of things.

Of course, she is totally genuine, and likes cool stuff like costume design and is going to SCAD next year... so jealous. It also helped that I didn't have to dangle a jingly toy to get her to look and smile. Can I get an amen from all my fellow kiddo photogs out there?? *crickets chirping*
